Story

SAMUEL - ID#A044986

Hi, my name is SAMUEL.  I am a male, seal point Siamese.  The shelter staff think I am about 6 months old.

Sammy the Siamese and sleek ebon Mikey are terrific brothers.  They play,
eat, and sleep together, and of course fight with each other, as do most
siblings.  Adopting both of them is ideal, twice the loving and fun.  They
had a difficult early life:  living on the street, both had ringworm virus,
and were kept in cages at the shelter because they were contagious to other
animals.  But look at them now!  In a loving foster home since early
January, they have blossomed into healthy, fun, adventurous, confident,
loving young cats.  They have the run of the house, and love to chase and
explore.  They are a delightful curious pair, and you will soon fall in love
with each of them.

Mikey was purring loudly when he arrived at his foster home, before even out
of his cat carrier.  He likes to sleep in the sun, and his black coat will
shine like cocoa in the sunlight.  He has beautiful round green eyes and a
long tail, very handsome.  A bit reserved, Mikey will love you on his terms.
He will cuddle near you, but is also independent.  Mikey is a good eater,
mostly dry food, and always uses his litter box.  Chasing and pouncing on
balls, wine corks, string, almost anything makes Mikey happy.  Treats also
make Mikey happy; he will chase and play with dry treats on the floor, so
cute and entertaining.  Mikey likes to chirp at birds, is curious about the
world, and likes to explore.  He is a sweet and fun young cat, and will
usually be near you in the house.

Remember the Beatles song Ebony and Ivory?  Pretty good description of these
two darling brothers.  Together they will bring a delightful joy and lots of
love into your home.
