Hi! My name is SUNDAY. I am a neutered male, white and gray Great Pyrenees mix. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 22, 2021.

I LOVE TO: Be around people.

I HAVE: A great smile and a loving personality.

I GET ALONG WELL WITH: Adults and children 6 years and older.

I WOULD RATHER NOT: Be put in a crate.

I NEED: A loving family!

Starting the Adoption Process

Thank you for your interest in adopting an animal. To schedule an interaction or begin the application process, please follow these easy steps. 

How to Submit Your Application:  
1.   Download an adoption application and Save the document to your device, fill it out and attach it to an email; or
2.   Take a screenshot of the completed application and email us the pictures.

Please email your application to animalservices@scdpanimalshelter.org.

We can also accept applications via fax to 949-366-4765, or you can leave it in the Shelter drop-box located at our front door at 221 Avenida Fabricante, San Clemente, CA 92672.

PLEASE NOTE: The shelter is currently closed to walk-in public, due to the COVID-19 virus. 

Staff are on site during our regular business hours (below), to address phone calls,  offer shelter services by appointment only, as well as handle any/all animal control concerns.

Our regular business hours are as follows: 

Monday: Closed

Tuesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm

Sunday: 12 - 3pm

In person services are by appointment only, due to the COVID-19 virus, please contact the shelter at (949) 492-1617, for more information.

The adoption fee for dogs is $125, which covers the following: spay or neuter, microchip, current vaccines, flea treatment if required, "New Owner" folder packed with helpful information, and one free basic health examination within 5 days of adoption from a veterinarian on our list.
