Help with Fundraising and Events
Help Pet Project Foundation Raise Funds to Rescue Homeless Animals.
Fundraising and Events Volunteering
Are you hesitant to volunteer at the shelter for fear of “wanting to take all the animals home”? Perhaps your schedule doesn’t allow you to commit to a 3 hour shift on a weekly basis. There are still many important ways you can help the homeless animals of our communities, one of the most important being assisting Pet Project Foundation with our fundraising events and promotion. PPF needs to raise over $350,000 each year to meet its financial commitments to the shelter animals. One of our primary means of raising money is through fun events throughout the year. We always need extra help with planning and coordinating these events.
No experience necessary! If you’re afraid to volunteer for an event because you have no background in event planning or organizing – have no fear – we’ll provide guidance and input to get you quickly up to speed.
Here are some of the fun-filled events held by Pet Project Foundation each year to benefit our shelter animals:
- Festival of Whales Street Fair (March)
- L’Hirondelle Patio Party (June)
- Barks & Brews (August)
- Tail of Two Cities Gala (Fall)
- Santa Claws & Paws (December)
Does Pet Project Foundation Need Help in Other Areas?
As an all-volunteer organization, Pet Project Foundation is always on the lookout for dedicated animal lovers with skills in a variety of areas. For example, we need graphic artists to help design promotional flyers and brochures, photographers to take photos of our adoptable animals to post on the web, and individuals with writing skills to help develop adoption success stories and other articles for our website and newsletter.
How Do I Start?
