This year's theme for A Tail of Two Cities was "Caribbean Skulldoggery." The fund-raiser was held at Talega Golf Club for the second year. Treasure chests were overflowing, as were the rum punches. The evening was perfect, with lots of booty to bid on in the silent auction and great live auction items, including a one-week stay in Whitefish, Montana, donated by kind supporters of PPF for the third year and successfully bid on by Val Glasgow. The always popular stay at The Montage in Laguna Beach with dinner was actively bid on and won by Karen de Grandmaison, a long-time supporter and volunteer. This year's musical entertainment was provided by a local band, the extremely talented and versatile West Coast Strayz.

PPF is extremely grateful to all the donors, sponsors, supporters and volunteers who helped pull together a fabulous all-around fun event in these decidedly tough times. Because of you all, we are able to continue to help more of the helpless animal victims of this devastating economy. This event raised slightly in excess of $35.000, something to be proud of in these times.
