Please review this very informative rabbit intro video before you consider adopting.
All of our adoptable rabbits are current on their RHDV2 vaccination.
The shelter is open to the general public but we highly encourage you to fill out an application form before your visit.
ALFRED (A049910) is a handsome, orange, young, neutered male dwarf mix rabbit. He was about 4 months old when he came to the shelter in July 2023. Alfred is a little timid but has a wonderful disposition. For such a young bunny, he's actually quite mellow, although he really perks up when treats are involved. He is not too crazy about being picked up, but doesn't mind being held for a bit once he is, and he really enjoys pets! Alfred has excellent litter box habits and would be a wonderful house bunny for welcoming home!
BISCUIT (ID A049406) is a playful ruby-eyed white spayed dwarf rex mix rabbit. (We think she's part rex because her fur is shorter than a standard rabbit's.) She was about 13 months old when she arrived at the shelter in May 2023. Biscuit was transferred from another shelter that was overwhelmed after dealing with a hoarding situation. Biscuit is an energetic, intense girl. She LOVES to zoom around everywhere, chinning everything in sight, flopping completely onto her back, lying down for 10 seconds, then back up again to repeat. She wants to know what's going on around her all of the time. She was obviously not handled very much before she came to the shelter and was likely in a situation where she had to be defensive of her space, so she will need a patient family willing to work on gaining her trust. Biscuit has great litter box habits. Because of her intensity, she would do best in an adult-only home with experienced rabbit owners.
BRI (A049784) is a lovely gray-and-white rex mix spayed female rabbit. She was about 6 months old when she arrived at the shelter in July 2023. Bri is a fun-loving sweetie. She enjoys checking out new environments and zooming around. She's not crazy about being picked up but doesn't mind a nice round of petting when she's done exploring. Bri's litter box habits have improved tremendously since she was spayed. She will definitely be a great little bun to have in a loving, caring home!
CASSIE is a Palomino spayed female rabbit. She was about 3 years old when she arrived at the shelter in July 2023. Cassie is a beautiful girl and SUPER sweet! She's a little shy but is easy to handle and doesn't mind pets when she learns to trust you. She would be an awesome first rabbit for someone who is looking for a mellow, nice girl. Cassie has good litter box habits and is looking for a home where she will be showered with love!
CECILY (ID A033585) is a dwarf mix ruby-eyed white spayed female. She was about 2 months old when she arrived at the shelter in July 2015. Cecily was part of a litter dumped at a local park with her siblings and mother Trixie. Cecily is a real sweetie and is easy to handle. She loves pets, but only on her terms. Cecily is a little shy and uncertain but warms up to you once she gets to know you. She has good litter box habits and would make a lovely rabbit for a home willing to give her the attention and love she needs!
DAHLIA (ID A048559) is a beautiful spayed female ruby-eyed white lionhead dwarf mix rabbit. She was about 4 months old when she was transferred to the shelter in September 2022. Dahlia's favorite activity is exploring. Her second favorite activity is finding treats. She's a little shy with people she doesn't know, but if you give her a treat, she'll be your best friend! Dahlia isn't crazy about being picked up, but she'll tolerate it and a few pets if there are treats involved! Her litter box habits are excellent. Dahlia would make a nice indoor rabbit companion for someone with a bit of patience and a lot of love to give!
HONEY BUN (A049408) is a beautiful spayed female gray-and-white Harlequin rabbit. She was about 9 months old when she arrived at the shelter in May 2023. Honey Bun was transferred from another shelter that was overwhelmed after dealing with a hoarding situation. Honey Bun is a nice but shy girl who was obviously not handled much before coming to the shelter. She is slowly learning to trust us humans, but she's still unsure about being picked up or petted. She enjoys exploring new surroundings and is fairly active, being a young bun. She has great litter box habits and would make a lovely addition to a quiet, loving family.
INDEPENDENCE (A049726) is a gorgeous red-and-white Dutch dwarf spayed female rabbit with striking blue eyes! She was about 8 months old when she arrived at the shelter in July 2023. Indy is a gentle girl with a sweet personality. She enjoys lounging around when she isn't exploring the cardboard boxes we give her. She loves treats and takes them delicately from your fingers. She isn't super crazy about being held for long periods of time, but she tolerates it and doesn't mind a nice petting session. Indy has great litter box habits and would be a lovely house rabbit addition to a quiet, welcoming family!
LUV BUN (ID A049407) is a pretty spayed blue-eyed white dwarf mix rabbit. She was about 13 months old when she arrived at the shelter in May 2023. Luv Bun was transferred from another shelter that was overwhelmed after dealing with a hoarding situation. She is a very active rabbit and loves to zoom around and dig in her litter box. The environment she grew up in was not an easy one, and she is intense when it comes to food - she probably had to fight with other rabbits to make sure she was fed. Luv Bun's litter box habits are excellent except for the fact that she likes to dig in her box! She needs a home with an experienced, patient adult who is willing to work with her to gain her trust.
RAQUEL WELCH (A049436) is a cute spayed female gray-and-white lop mix. She was about 4 months old when she came to the shelter in May 2023. Raquel is bonded to Rita Hayworth, and the two rabbits must be adopted together. Raquel and Rita are tons of fun to watch! Being young, they have lots of energy and love zooming around. They frequently do things together - jump on boxes, zoom through tubes, jump into the cardboard cottage, and rest for a few seconds before repeating it all over again. Neither of them is crazy about being handled - Raquel is a little easier to handle than Rita. They don't mind a few pets, but they'd much rather be on the move. Their litter box habits are very good. Raquel and Rita will provide many hours of entertainment for some lucky family! All rabbits are adopted to indoor homes only.
RITA HAYWORTH (A049435) is a cute spayed female agouti Holland lop. She was about 4 months old when she came to the shelter in May 2023. Rita is bonded to Raquel Welch, and the two rabbits must be adopted together. Rita and Raquel are such fun to watch! Being young, they have tons of energy and love zooming around. They frequently do things together - jump on boxes, zoom through tubes, jump into the cardboard cottage, and rest for a few seconds before repeating it all over again. Neither of them is crazy about being handled - Rita less so. They don't mind a few pets, but they'd much rather be on the move. Their litter box habits are very good. Rita and Raquel will provide many hours of entertainment for some lucky family! All rabbits are adopted to indoor homes only.
SUMMER is a beautiful black-and-white Dutch female rabbit. She was about six months old when she arrived at the shelter in April 2022 and is spayed and vaccinated for RHDV2. Summer is a confident bunny who enjoys being around people. She is affectionate (she will give you lots of kisses if you play your cards right) and doesn’t mind being handled—though she will certainly let you know when she’s over it. Her likes include being petted, zooming around, being underfoot, treats, and cardboard boxes. Her dislikes include bathrobes, towels, heavy metal music, and other bunnies. Summer is great with her litter box and would make a great companion for a family without small children.
