Other Ways to Help the Animals of the LA Wildfire
- Foster: Sign up to foster directly through Pasadena Humane Society or Best Friends LA.
- Social Compassion In Legislation is also assisting with coordinating fosters for LA area shelters – you can email them directly to get involved.
- Best Friends LA has created a Facebook page to connect individuals looking for temporary housing for their pets and those that are interested in fostering.
- Volunteer On-Site: Best Friends LA has set up three unification centers to help reunite people with their lost pets, as well as setting up two pantry locations to provide dog and cat food to the community. Please reach out if you are interested in helping work either of those sites.
- Transportation Assistance: Local animal advocate Tracey Denney is organizing a kennel and crate drive and needs volunteers for animal transportation in the LA area. If you can help, please contact Tracey directly.
